Our goal is to take action on climate change and waste across our supply chain. Implementing a credible plan to achieve net zero emissions and to reduce waste.

Product Returns Program

Our Product Returns Program aims to reduce landfill waste and support our community. In collaboration with Ecocentral in Christchurch and Allheart in Auckland, we give returned products a second life. These items are tested, repaired, and either sold in Ecocentral and Allheart’s second-hand stores or donated to those in need. Through our partnership with Ecocentral, we have already diverted over 70 tonnes of product returns from landfills, contributing to more than 60 care packages for families in the Christchurch region.

Forklift Electrification Phase Program

To help reduce our environmental impact and achieve our emissions reduction targets, we are transitioning our LPG forklift fleet to electric forklifts. So far, we have successfully converted 76% of our fleet to electric.

Ethical Supplier Program

Our Ethical Supplier program was initiated to enhance ethical and environmental standards throughout our supply chain. To date, this program has mapped, audited, and graded over 220 factories worldwide. We are firmly opposed to all forms of modern slavery and believe it is our responsibility to ensure that the products we stock are not produced under such conditions.

Scope 1 & 2 Emissions Reductions

We understand our business operations have an environmental impact
and want to work to reduce that impact. In light of this, we have set a target
to reduce scope 1 and 2 emissions by 50% by 2030 and aim to reach net zero by 2050.

Scope 3 Supplier Engagement

We are actively engaging with our suppliers to gain a comprehensive understanding of their progress towards emissions targets and reductions. This effort will shape our Scope 3 Emissions reduction roadmap.
